Rwanda: Places To Visit

the Parc National de Volcans is probably the most visited part of Rwanda due to the presence of Mountain Gorillas.  Permits are required to join a compeny on a mountain gorilla tre, but are fairly easily obtained.

The capital Kigali, is home to the genocide museum.

A'Karenga National Park is in the west of the country, and is home to a wide arrary of wqildlife including apes, lions, elephant, hippo, warthogs and commorants.

The National Museum in Butare has an extensive collection of East African arts and crafts as well as photographs documanting the colonial period in Rwanda through to the modern state.
