Getting There

By Air

Air France is the main international airline serving Reunion but there are daily flights to Mauritius with Air Mauritius.

Saint Denis de la Reunion (RUN) is the main airport.  It is 10 km from th town and buses run throughout the day.  Car Hire is available.

Saint-Pierre Pierrefronds is 5km from the town, shuttle buses run to a few local towns, plus taxis and Car Hire are available.

By Water

The main port, for freight and passengers, is Port Reunion.  Daily ferries operate to Mauritius.

Getting Around

By Air

Planes can be chartered for flights over the island.

By Car

Roads are in quite good condition.  Taxis are available in main towns.  Buses services run around towns and between main towns.  The bus service is very good.

Car hire is available and an international drivers permit is reccommended.
