By Air

The national airline is Air Mauritius.
The main international airport is Mauritius (MRU) (Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam), it is 48km from Port Louis. there are taxis available to the city.

By Water

There is very limited passenger transport.

By Air

There are flights between Mauritius airport (outside port Louis) and Rodriques Island by Air Mauritius.

By Water

There is a weekly boat to Rodriques Island.

By Road

The main highway runs the length of the country, but most roads are poaved and of god quality.  Traffic drives on the left.  Buses run to most towns.  Car hire is available from local and national firms.
