The capital.  Sights to see include:
Queens Palace
Rova the Royal Village
Ambohimanga known as the "blue city" or the "forbidden City"  was the birthplace of the Malagasy state.

Wildlife & National parks

Parc Nationale de Ranomafana is 41,500 hectares of lush rainforest. The park is home to 12 species of lemur.  The park entrace is at Ambodiamontana  village.  guided walks are available in the park including nocturnal walks where you may get to see a fanaloka.

Tsingy de Bemaraha Strict Nature Reserve is also home to lemurs, mangrove swamps, rare birds and undisrubed forest.

Ampefy is a volcanic region withwaterfalls and geysers.

Sports

Diving, snorkelling, water skiing, fishing, and saiing are all found at various spots around the islands.
