Getting There

By Air

The National Airline is Libyan Arab Airlines
The main international airport is Tripoli (TIP), it is 25 km from the city. Buses and taxis are available to the city.

By Water

Libya has the following ports: Es-Sider, Benghazi, Darna, Mersa Brega, Misurata and Tripoli.   Many cruise lines call at Libya.

By Road

There are routes from Egypt and Tunisia which are of a good standard.  Buses and Taxis frequent these routes/

There are flights to most major towns and cities with an airport

By Road

Traffic drives on the right.  Roads are of a reasonable standard, but signposrts are only in Arabic. If travelling away from the coast it is reccommended to take food, water and fuel.
