Getting there

By Air

British airways, Kenya airways and South African Airways fly into Cote D'Ivoire.
The main international airport is Abidjan about 16 km from the city. Buses and taxis are available to the city.

 By Rail

There is a rail link from Abidjan to Burkina Faso, although there are financial problems nd the service is constantly under threat of closure.

By road

There are road links to Ghana, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Liberia and Mali.  Check border times before travelling.

Getting Around

By Rail

The Abidjan - Ouagadougou railway is one of the best in africa.  Its stops at several towns in Cote D'Ivoire before leaving the country.

By Road

relative to much of West Africa, cote D'Ivoire has a good road sytem.  Animlas, poepl and potholes on rods are still hazards though.
