Asmara

Due to the Italian Colonial influence several buildings in the capital , Asmara are worth a look at.  The cathedral is built in the lombardy style., the government administrative centre, and town hall and the theatre.

Massawa

Is the deepest port on the Red Sea, the town is made up of 3 areas, two isalnds and the mainland part of town.  Batse isalnds has good restuatrants and bars. 

Emberemi, is a pilgrimmage site, famous for the mausoleums of Sheikh el Amin and Muhammad Ibn Ali.

Cycling is a very popular sport in Eritrea and you can ride with local clubs, although you will need to bring your own bike.
