Getting There
Air Burkina is the national airline. Flights from Europe and UnitedStates all come via Paris. The main airport is Ouagadougou (OAU), it is 8 miles from the city. Taxis and bus services run into the city.

The only internationl line is from Cote D'Ivoire, but services are currently not running.
There are routes to and from Mali, Togo, Ghana, Cote D'ivoire and Niger, but roads conditions are generally poor. During the dry season buses run on these routes. there are bsh taxis running generally all year round.
Getting Around
Domestic flights run between Ouagadougou and Bobo Dioulasso.
A limited train service runs between Ouagadougou and Bobo Dioulasso.

Many roads are unpaved and unpassable during the wet season.
Buses run on all main routes and are cheap.
Car hire is available in Ouagadougou.
