Visiting Africa

The least developed continent to travel through, and while some countries offer all mod cons many don't.  But it is a continent that once you've ben will attract you back for more, and there is so mush more to see.  From natural beauty, in waterfalls, mountains, volcanoes, deserts, sand dunes, salt pans and lush savanna to culture.  With many people living as they have done for centuries.  There is something for everyone in the world's second largest continent.

There is a huge diversity of places to visit in Africa. Each country has differnet cultures, languages, flora, fauna, scenery, history and topography. It is worthwhile doing som research before you go.  Transportation can be basic and internal flights are often expensive, unless bought as part of a flight package.  Overland trips are well worth considering if you have more than three weeks.

After nearly 10 years living in Southern Africa, one factor which people which seemed to amaze people were the great distances between the sights they wanted to see, and the time that it takes to cover these distances, whether travelling by car, bus or train.
